Main Purpose of the Job The purpose of the job position "CLEANER-CLEANING-JANITORIAL" is to ensure that the workplace is clean and sanitary. The cleaner will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning windows, and emptying trash cans. They will also be responsible for cleaning restrooms and other common areas. Main Duties / Responsibilities The main duties and responsibilities of a Cleaner-Janitor position include: Cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness of a building or facility, including floors, walls, ceilings, furniture, and equipment. Comply with BICS standards and procedures. Removing trash and debris from the building or facility. Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms. Washing windows and mirrors. Maintaining and operating cleaning equipment. Reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate person. Following all safety procedures. Adhering to company policies and procedures. Minimum qualifications / educational levels required for this position High school diploma or equivalent. Selection Criteria BICSc certified or trained is an advantage.
