Job Summary:

The Cleaner Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the cleaning staff to ensure that all assigned areas are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness and hygiene. This role involves scheduling, training, inspecting, and supporting cleaning operations to meet company and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise, coordinate, and monitor the work of cleaning staff. Plan and organize daily cleaning schedules and staff assignments. Conduct regular inspections of premises to ensure cleaning standards are met. Provide training and guidance to cleaning staff on proper cleaning techniques, use of chemicals, and safety procedures. Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained and used safely. Manage inventory of cleaning materials and order replacements as needed. Handle staff attendance, timesheets, and performance reviews. Respond promptly to client or management requests and address any issues or complaints. Enforce health and safety policies, ensuring compliance with regulations. Assist with hands-on cleaning when necessary to support the team.

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience as a cleaning supervisor or similar role. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and safety procedures. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure. Basic computer skills for scheduling and reporting.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent (required). Previous experience in cleaning or facilities management (minimum 2 years preferred). Supervisory or team leader experience in a similar environment (preferred).
