We are seeking a responsible and animal-loving individual to fill a dual role as
Cleaner & Pet Handler
. This role is crucial to ensuring the clinic remains clean, organized, and safe while also assisting with the gentle handling of pets during their visits.
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning Duties:
Maintain cleanliness of all clinic areas: exam rooms, reception, surgical rooms, kennels, and boarding areas
Disinfect animal cages, floors, and surfaces regularly
Handle clinic laundry (towels, bedding, uniforms)
Safely dispose of waste (including medical waste)
Refill cleaning supplies and report low stock
Pet Handling Duties:
Assist veterinary staff in restraining pets during exams and procedures
Comfort and calm nervous pets
Walk dogs and monitor pets in the boarding area
Help with bathing and light grooming tasks when needed
Observe animals' behavior and report any signs of illness or discomfort
Ensure pets are safe, secure, and well-treated at all times
Requirements:
Experience in cleaning and/or pet care preferred (clinic or kennel experience is a plus)
Comfortable working around all types of animals (dogs, cats, birds, etc.)
Physically fit and able to lift medium-sized animals or supplies
Calm, patient, and respectful toward animals and clients
Willing to learn and follow safety and hygiene protocols
Basic English communication skills
Working Hours:
Full-time (Shift-based - may include weekends or evenings)
