Cleaner / Housekeeping Staff

Job Description
Job Summary:
The Housekeeping Staff is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation standards throughout the clinic. This includes cleaning patient areas, offices, and common spaces in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and disinfect all areas of the clinic, including consultation rooms, waiting areas, washrooms, and staff rooms. Ensure that waste bins are emptied and disposed of properly following infection control guidelines. Replenish supplies such as tissue, soap, sanitizer, and cleaning materials as needed. Assist in maintaining cleanliness of medical equipment and furniture under supervision. Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor. Follow safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment. Maintain a professional appearance and behavior at all times. Support staff during patient rush hours with cleaning and organizing tasks. Perform any additional duties assigned by the management.
Requirements:
Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning, preferably in a healthcare facility. Basic understanding of hygiene, infection control, and sanitation practices. Physically fit and able to perform cleaning tasks efficiently. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexible with duty timings and shifts. Good personal hygiene and grooming.
