Position Overview
GEMS Modern Academy is seeking a qualified Geography Teacher for a temporary role to teach Grades 8-10 following the ICSE curriculum. The successful candidate will deliver engaging instruction, prepare students for board examinations, and foster curiosity and enthusiasm for Geography in a supportive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver comprehensive lessons aligned with the ICSE Geography syllabus.
• Teach and prepare Grade 10 students effectively for board examinations.
• Assess and record student progress while providing constructive feedback.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages engagement.
• Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues about student development.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Geography (BA/BSc) or a related field.
• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) with Geography as a teaching subject.
• Proven experience teaching ICSE/ISC Geography at the middle or high school level.
• Strong knowledge of the ICSE Geography syllabus for Grades 8-10.
• Master's degree in Geography (MA/MSc) preferred.
• Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
