CLAIMS OFFICER

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Claims Officer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for managing and processing medical claims, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution. Your clinical knowledge and problem-solving skills will be key in navigating complex cases and supporting efficient healthcare operations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Process, review, and adjudicate outpatient and inpatient medical claims.
• Utilize clinical judgment to assess claims for medical necessity and coding accuracy.
• Liaise with healthcare providers, patients, and Third-Party Administrators (TPAs).
• Ensure compliance with company policies and insurance regulations.
• Maintain proficiency in claims management systems and software.
• Manage a high-volume workload, prioritizing tasks to meet critical deadlines.

Requirements:

• Medical or Paramedical degree (e.g., Nursing, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy).
• 2-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting; experience with a Third-Party Administrator (TPA) is a significant advantage.
• Strong clinical judgment and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
• Excellent computer skills and proven proficiency with claims processing systems.
• Ability to multitask effectively, manage tight deadlines, and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred: Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification or similar quick coding certification.
