Job Description

P
  • rovide analysis and evaluation of claims, including: E
    • valuation of both contractual and legal entitlement. I
    • dentify, collect and evaluate relevant facts and records. C
    • ollate related information and provide analysis based on facts, records and the contract requirements. P
    • repare, brief and advise strategies for claim resolution, defences and counterclaims. P
    • repare reports and recommendations related to claims and disputes. E
    • valuate quantum. I
  • nterface with delay analysis process for all planning/time elements of claims. A
    • dvise appropriate methods of delay and program analysis. P
  • rovide substantiation and advice related to the client\xe2\x80\x99s claims. P
  • roduce well-written, concise reports and letters with minimal revisions required. U
  • ndertake audits of contractor\xe2\x80\x99s applications, certifications, variations and claims from time to time. P
  • rovide independent conclusions and recommendations, manage disputes, ensuring that robust contractual, factual and commercial input is considered. L
  • iaise with and provide all approved appropriate advice and support to the client\xe2\x80\x99s Contracts department(s) regarding all disputes. W
  • ork closely with the client\xe2\x80\x99s Contracts department(s) to ensure that client\xe2\x80\x99s exposure is correctly diagnosed, accurately reported and, where appropriate, effectively mitigated. A
  • dhere to and maintain familiarity with any client procedures regarding items such as Contract Administration, Claims Management, Employer\xe2\x80\x99s Claims and Contractor\xe2\x80\x99s Document Inspection. I
  • nforms themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures in place within Hill International, and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill. P
  • erform other duties as assigned by the line manager, supervisor, Senior Contracts Manager and/or Project Director.

  • egree in construction or legal-related discipline or similar. M
  • inimum 12+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in handling and managing claims and disputes on major construction projects. E
  • xtensive experience working on construction projects. P
  • rofessional accreditation and membership of industry-leading and internationally recognized institute(s) is preferred. E
  • xtensive experience working with the FIDIC suite of contracts. W
