We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chargehand to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As a Chargehand, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the activities of a work crew, ensuring efficient operations, maintaining safety standards, and delivering high-quality results.
Supervise and lead a team of workers, assigning tasks and providing guidance as needed
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols, including local UAE work standards
Oversee the proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials
Coordinate with other departments or supervisors to plan and execute work efficiently
Conduct regular safety meetings and toolbox talks to promote a safe work environment
Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and project specifications
Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on the job site promptly and effectively
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and team performance
Participate in hands-on work as required, demonstrating tasks and supporting the team
Monitor and report on project progress to management
Ensure proper storage and inventory management of tools and equipment
Collaborate with other team leaders to optimize overall productivity and resource allocation
