Roles and Responsibilities

:

1. Work Execution

Carry out plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair tasks as per drawings and instructions.

Ensure proper installation of pipes, fittings, sanitary wares, drainage, and water supply systems.

Perform pressure testing and leak detection on completed plumbing systems.

2. Team Support

Assist the Plumbing Foreman in supervising and guiding a small team of plumbers and helpers.

Distribute work among team members and monitor day-to-day site activities.

Provide technical support to junior workers as needed.

3. Coordination

Coordinate with other trades (electrical, HVAC, civil) to avoid clashes and ensure smooth workflow.

Report material shortages or work progress issues to the Foreman or Engineer.

4. Quality & Compliance

Ensure that plumbing work is done in line with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Follow all plumbing codes, standards, and safety regulations.

Report any design discrepancies or construction issues to the supervisor.

5. Safety

Maintain safe working practices on-site.

Ensure proper use of tools and personal protective equipment (PPE) by the team.

6. Material Handling

Receive and organize plumbing materials and tools on-site.

Prevent wastage by using materials efficiently and storing them properly.

7. Documentation

Keep records of completed work, tests conducted, and daily activities (if required by the Foreman or Engineer).

Assist in marking up as-built drawings for final submission.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
