Civil Surveyor
Job Description
Job Purpose The Surveyor is responsible for providing professional advice and support on all aspects of surveying for housing projects. This includes carrying out surveys, preparing reports, and managing contracts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of surveying principles and practices, as well as experience in the housing industry. Key Accountability Areas Carry out surveys of land and buildings for housing projects Prepare reports on survey findings Manage contracts for surveying services Advise on surveying matters to project managers, architects, and engineers liaise with other professionals involved in housing projects Stay up-to-date with the latest surveying technologies and practices Role Accountability Bachelor's degree or Diploma in surveying or a related field 3+ years of experience in surveying, preferably in the housing industry Strong understanding of surveying principles and practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficient in computer-aided surveying software Academic Qualification: Diploma Degree in Surveying & Mapping Sciences Work Experience: 2 to 5 Years Technical / Functional Competencies Communication Creativity Critical thinking Initiative Leadership MS Office Physically fit Project Management
