Job Title: Civil Site Inspector

Location: Ajman - UAE

Al Sultan Engineering Consultants is currently hiring a qualified and experienced Civil Site Inspector to oversee and ensure the quality and progress of site activities on ongoing civil engineering projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and monitoring site works, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. This is a full-time site-based role in Ajman, offering an exciting opportunity to work with a reputable consultancy firm.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor, inspect, and document all daily construction activities on-site. Conduct and prepare inspection reports for civil works, including enabling works, foundations, shoring and structural activities. Review and verify shop drawings, method statements and material submittals. Prepare and maintain daily site inspection logs, progress records and photo documentation. Ensure all site activities are carried out according to the approved drawings, specifications and safety standards. Coordinate with contractors, engineers and other stakeholders to resolve site issues. Issue non-conformance reports (NCRs) and follow up on corrective actions. Participate in project handover inspections and verify completion of works. Ensure the availability of required permits, NOCs and approvals at site.
Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. Minimum 4-7 years of relevant experience in the UAE, preferably in consultancy supervision roles. Proven experience in civil site inspection, particularly in building construction, enabling works, piling, and shoring. Strong knowledge of UAE construction regulations, safety standards, and QA/QC procedures. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and relevant engineering software. Excellent communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
