Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Civil Site Engineer with extensive experience in the UAE construction market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. Immediate availability will be considered a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution:

• Review project specifications, technical drawings, and BOQs to understand full project scope.
• Develop detailed work plans, schedules, and methodologies for site execution.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors on site.

Site Supervision & Quality Control:

• Supervise all site activities for high-end interior fit-out and construction work, ensuring strict adherence to design documents, specifications, and approved materials.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure workmanship meets company quality standards and client expectations.
• Identify and resolve any technical issues or discrepancies that arise during construction.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):

• Enforce strict adherence to all company and UAE HSE regulations and policies on site.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and ensure a safe working environment at all times.
• Report and investigate any incidents, accidents, or near-misses.

Communication & Reporting:

• Act as the primary point of contact between site activities, the project manager, clients, and consultants.
• Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports, site records, and RFIs (Requests for Information).
• Attend regular site meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

Coordination & Logistics:

• Manage the delivery, storage, and handling of materials and equipment on site.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of materials to avoid project delays.
• Liaise with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) teams and other trades to ensure seamless integration of work.

Documentation & Handover:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date site records, including drawings, reports, and variation orders.
• Manage the snagging and de-snagging process to ensure a flawless handover.
• Assist in the preparation of all project close-out documentation, including As-Built drawings and O&M manuals.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of proven UAE experience in construction and interior fit-out projects.
• Project Portfolio: Demonstrable success in delivering high-end residential, commercial, and F&B (Food & Beverage) projects from start to finish.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations in the UAE.
• Excellent skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Project) and AutoCAD.
• Soft Skills:
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong focus on quality, detail, and deadlines.
