Job Description

The ideal candidate as site engineer in high-rise building contracting supervises daily construction activities, ensuring projects align with plans, specifications, and safety standards. Responsibilities include managing labor and subcontractors, conducting quality checks, preparing progress reports, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining site records. The role requires strong technical skills, project management abilities, knowledge of local codes, and excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Dubai Based Experience is Mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

Experience

: The ideal candidate Must have minimum 5 - 8 years of Dubai based experience.

Project Supervision:

Supervise and coordinate all construction activities, ensuring they meet project specifications, timelines, and budgets.

Quality Control:

Implement quality control procedures, conduct regular inspections, and ensure all work adheres to approved drawings and standards.

Safety Compliance:

Ensure all site operations comply with health and safety regulations, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions.

Team Management:

Manage and monitor the work of labor and subcontractors, ensuring productivity and quality.

Reporting & Documentation:

Prepare detailed daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, and maintain accurate site records, including materials, labor, and inspections.

Technical Support:

Provide technical guidance, resolve on-site technical issues, and attend coordination meetings with clients, architects, and consultants.

Resource Management:

Oversee the use of materials and ensure they comply with specifications and approved submissions.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Knowledge:

Proficiency in interpreting architectural drawings and specifications, knowledge of construction methods, and materials specific to high-rise buildings.

Software Skills:

Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software is a plus.

Project Management:

Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.

Problem-Solving:

Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities to address technical issues effectively.

Communication:

Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and other professionals.

Education:

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Local Regulations:

Knowledge of local building codes and regulations is essential.
