Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented

Civil Quality Control (QC) Engineer

with a minimum of

5 years of relevant experience

to join our growing team. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience working on

TAQA

and

TRANSCO

projects and a strong understanding of their quality and safety standards.

As a QC Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all civil construction works comply with project specifications, drawings, and applicable local and international standards. You will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to conduct inspections, monitor work quality, and maintain proper documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and monitor quality control procedures for civil engineering and infrastructure projects. Review and ensure compliance with

TAQA

and

TRANSCO

project specifications, standards, and drawings. Prepare and maintain comprehensive

Inspection and Test Reports (ITRs)

. Conduct site inspections and monitor activities to ensure adherence to safety and quality requirements. Identify and resolve quality-related issues, defects, or deviations from specifications. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project management to maintain consistent quality throughout all project phases. Provide technical guidance and corrective actions when necessary. Ensure all quality records, materials testing results, and documentation are properly maintained. Review and verify method statements, material submittals, and testing plans.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree

in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience

in Quality Control within the construction industry. Proven experience working on

TAQA

and

TRANSCO

projects (mandatory). Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, standards, and inspection requirements. Familiarity with civil materials testing, quality documentation, and reporting systems. Proficient in

Microsoft Office

and quality control software/tools. Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight project deadlines.
