The Civil QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all civil works and construction activities meet the required quality standards, project specifications, and regulatory codes. The role involves supervising quality control processes, conducting inspections, preparing reports, and coordinating with project stakeholders to achieve compliance and deliver high-quality construction outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and monitor the
Quality Management System (QMS)
at site as per project requirements.
Conduct
site inspections
for civil works (concrete, rebar, formwork, earthworks, asphalt, finishes, etc.).
Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with
project specifications, drawings, and standards (QCS, ASTM, BS, ACI, etc.)
.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and clients on
quality-related issues
.
Prepare
QA/QC documentation
, including inspection reports, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and corrective/preventive actions.
Ensure proper
material testing
is conducted and reports are verified.
Conduct internal audits and participate in external quality audits.
Maintain proper records of
quality inspections, test results, and approvals
for handover.
Support project handover by preparing and verifying QA/QC dossiers.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in
Civil Engineering
.
Minimum
5+ years of experience
in QA/QC within civil construction and infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, documentation, and inspection techniques.
Excellent communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
