Job Summary: Looking for a Civil Project Engineer in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Job Key Details:

• Supervise and coordinate civil projects from start to the last stage
• Handle pre-development activities and project financing duties
• Assess the project in-depth to plan deliverables as well as estimate costs
• Supervise all onsite and offsite work to ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Direct workers as well as subcontractors
• Generate and interpret drawings
• Assist in selecting tools, materials as well as equipment to be used
• Generate internal and external reports
• Will be required to obtain approvals from authorities such as Jafza, Dubai Civil Defense, Trakhees - Civil Engineering Department etc
• Generate and present accurate weekly as well as monthly progress project reports
• Define and manage the development budgets as well as programs
• Check and report on all structures throughout the works
• Develop and promote effective relationships internally and externally
• Handle the delivery and control of construction materials
• Manage bidding or pricing process for inclusion in the final project budgets

Job Qualifications and Experience

• A licensed civil engineer with a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering and Dubai Municipality License (G+1)
• Must have a minimum of 5 and above years of experience in steel structuring projects preferably in Dubai
• Good communication and project management skills
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Expertise in computer applications including Ms Office suite, AutoCAD, Primavera, Gantt chart, Ms Project
• Should be able to handle pressure and meet deadlines
• Good leadership skills
• Must have good skills in estimation, surveying, designing as well as planning
• Ability to independently handle projects
