Main Duties : Brevan is currently looking for a Civils Package Coordinator for the civil and earthworks packages for EPC MEP projects to work with our client based in the UAE. The Package Coordinator assists the Project Manager and Proposals Teams with the estimation, control and execution of one or more simultaneous projects. The Civils Coordinator has responsibility for all activities associated with a specific equipment/contract package. The responsibility includes completion of all technical as well as commercial activities from functional analysis of requirements, review and extraction of the technical specifications and defining subcontract and in house scopes of work, assists engineering in defining BOQs, coordinates and oversees construction to commissioning and handover. The Civils Coordinator is the point of contact across the project civils functions and between the project and the PS&C and the identified bidders and vendors. Safely supports construction projects, coordinates and plans execution methods, manages subcontractors, reports project progress, issues and scope changes to achieve successful project completion, on-time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: \xe2\x80\xa2 Lead and enforce HSEQ requirements \xe2\x80\xa2 Lead and support construction for in house works and subcontracted packages \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist in preparation of vendor scopes, schedules and requirements \xe2\x80\xa2 Schedule tracking and overall project support including job progress and schedules/milestones \xe2\x80\xa2 Identifies and communicates changes in job status, scope, client requests and resolves problems. \xe2\x80\xa2 Meet work standards, monitor productivity, estimating staff resources and equipment needs \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage scope, issues/risks, and change management. \xe2\x80\xa2 Work closely with Project Management/Coordination team with the objective of meeting or exceeding project schedules, budgets and quality standards. \xe2\x80\xa2 Escalate problems as necessary to ensure awareness and assistance with resolution. \xe2\x80\xa2 Submit weekly/monthly status reports \xe2\x80\xa2 Periodic travel to local jobsites. Critical skills: \xe2\x80\xa2 Civil Engineering graduate qualification; \xe2\x80\xa2 Minimum 15 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in EPC project environment; \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong technical knowledge of the equipment or services, ideally within mid sized or multi-disciplined engineering projects (USD10M civil and earthworks); \xe2\x80\xa2 Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge of construction engineering practices, including equipment and material. \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent communication, organization and time management skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Working knowledge of computer drafting software (AutoCAD, 3D Civils, Word, Excel), and database programs for scheduling/tracking. \xe2\x80\xa2 Customer focussed and experience. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good understanding of local laws and NOC processes \xe2\x80\xa2 Exposure to all stages of the project lifecycle (concept, basic detail design, construction, commissioning, handover); \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in support of commercial management; \xe2\x80\xa2 Local authority\xe2\x80\x99s accreditation and approvals is mandatory.
