Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Civil NDT Technician to carry out Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) on civil structures and materials. The candidate will be responsible for assessing the integrity of concrete structures using advanced testing techniques without causing any damage. The role involves working across various project sites to ensure structural reliability and compliance with international standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting NDT on concrete structures using methods such as rebound hammer, ultrasonic pulse velocity (UPV), half-cell potential, rebar scanning, pull-out and pull-off tests, impact echo. Calibrating, operating, and maintaining NDT equipment and instruments. Analyzing test results to detect structural defects such as cracks, corrosion, delamination's, and voids. Preparing detailed test reports including methodologies, results, photos, and analysis. Performing routine inspections and checks on structural health across various project sites. Conducting core cutting to obtain concrete samples for structural evaluation. Ensuring all testing procedures comply with ASTM, IS, BS, ACI, and other relevant codes and standards. Supporting quality assurance and control activities in relation to structural testing. Providing technical recommendations based on test outcomes.
