Certifications:

Job Summary:
The NDT Technician will be responsible for executing non-destructive testing activities in accordance with the approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP). The role involves close coordination with clients during inspection processes and supports quality assurance throughout fabrication, welding, and surface preparation stages.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform all
Non-Destructive Tests (NDT)
in accordance with the project's
Inspection and Test Plan (ITP)
.
Coordinate with the client to
select and identify items for NDT
inspection.
Conduct
touch-up welding inspections
prior to releasing items for blasting and painting.
Prepare and maintain
daily NDT inspection reports
, ensuring all records are accurate and traceable.
Ensure compliance with applicable
industry codes, standards
, and
client specifications
.
Collaborate with fabrication, welding, and QA/QC teams to address and resolve any non-conformities.
Maintain and calibrate NDT equipment as per schedule.
Adhere strictly to
safety protocols
and site regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (preferred).
ASNT/PCN Level II certification
in UT, RT, MT, and PT (minimum two methods required).
At least
3 years of hands-on experience
in NDT within a
steel fabrication
environment.
Strong understanding of welding processes and fabrication drawings.
Detail-oriented with excellent observation and documentation skills.
Effective communication and team collaboration abilities.
