Job Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Civil Inspector to join our Expo project team. The Civil Inspector will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring the quality of civil construction works, compliance with project specifications, drawings, and applicable standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, hands-on inspection skills, and excellent knowledge of civil construction practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect and monitor civil works including concrete, masonry, plastering, flooring, finishing, and structural works to ensure compliance with project specifications. Verify construction works against approved drawings, designs, and project requirements. Conduct site inspections and quality control checks on materials and workmanship. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inspection reports and maintain proper documentation. Identify non-conformances and liaise with contractors and engineers to ensure timely corrective actions. Ensure safety compliance and adherence to UAE construction standards and regulations. Collaborate closely with project engineers, QA/QC teams, and site management. Review and check material submittals, test certificates, and construction methods. Support project teams during site audits, client inspections, and handovers.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering with relevant experience. Minimum 5-10 years of experience in civil inspection, preferably in high-profile projects such as Expo projects, commercial, or residential developments. Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and standards. Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documents. Proficient in site inspection, reporting, and documentation. Familiarity with UAE construction regulations and safety standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
