Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer with expertise in Facility Management to oversee the maintenance, operation, and improvement of infrastructure and building systems. The role requires strong technical knowledge, project management skills, and hands-on experience in civil works, preventive maintenance, and asset lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintenance & Operations:

Supervise daily operations, inspections, and maintenance activities of civil infrastructure

Ensure timely rectification of civil defects

Coordinate repairs and upgrades with vendors and internal maintenance teams.

Monitor condition of facilities and implement preventive maintenance programs.

2. Project & Renovation Works

:

Plan, estimate, and supervise minor renovation and construction projects.

Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and technical reports.

Ensure quality control and compliance with safety and design standards.

Review and approve shop drawings and material submittals.

3. Compliance & Documentation:

Ensure adherence to local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs, asset inventory, and inspection reports.

Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective measures.

4. Coordination & Vendor Management:

Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and service providers for civil and general maintenance works.

Evaluate contractor performance and ensure timely project delivery.

Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and soft services teams for integrated facility operations.

5. Budgeting & Reporting:

Assist in budgeting for civil maintenance and project works.

Monitor expenditures and track project progress.

Prepare weekly/monthly performance and incident reports.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

4+ years experience in facility management, civil maintenance,.

Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and building maintenance practices.

Proficiency in AutoCAD,2D & 3D, MS Office, and project management tools.

Familiarity with CAFM/CMMS systems is an advantage.

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
