Objective:
This position is responsible for delivering technically robust civil engineering solutions for retail projects, ensuring structural integrity, quality compliance, and timely execution aligned with organizational growth and industry benchmarks.
Key Responsibility:
Site Execution & Supervision

• Oversee civil and structural activities at project sites, ensuring alignment with approved drawings, technical specifications, and safety standards.
• Monitor daily progress and coordinate with contractors, consultants, and in-house teams to avoid project delays.

Technical Planning & Coordination

• Review architectural and structural plans, verify BOQs, and provide technical inputs during the planning and execution phases.
• Coordinate with MEP, interior fit-out, and external vendors to integrate civil works with broader project schedules.

Quality & Compliance

• Conduct quality checks for materials and workmanship, ensuring adherence to local building codes, EHS guidelines, and organizational quality benchmarks.
• Ensure necessary permits, NOCs, and statutory compliances are obtained and maintained.

Project Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of work progress, deviations, inspections, and testing.
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly progress reports, snag lists, and closure documentation.

Budget & Cost Control

• Support the estimation and validation of civil work budgets.
• Track consumption of materials and reconcile contractor invoices against work done.

Vendor & Contractor Management

• Evaluate technical aspects of contractor bids and support procurement in awarding contracts.
• Supervise contractor performance and ensure contractual obligations are met.

Desired Experience:

• 4-6 years of experience in civil engineering execution, preferably in retail, commercial, or fit-out projects.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting civil drawings, structural detailing, and project documentation.
• Familiarity with local building regulations, safety protocols, and civil quality standards.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Proficient in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD, Primavera).
• PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
