to prepare

concept, preliminary and

detailed Structural Designs

Responsible to analyze configurations of the basic structural components of a building or other structure. Responsible for Completion of detailed Structural Designs ensuring Structural Designs are completed in accordance with the latest design codes, standards and safety measures Responsible to Calculate the pressures, stresses and strains that each component, such as a beam or lintel, will experience from other parts of the structure due to human use or environmental pressures such as weather or earthquakes. Responsible to choose appropriate materials, such as concrete, steel, or precast, to meet design requirements Responsible to ensure that designs are cost-effective by the implementation of value engineering Responsible to Coordinate Structural Design with all other design disciplines, including architects, to agree on safe designs and their fit with the aesthetic concept of the construction. Responsible to apply expert knowledge of the forces that act on various structures. Responsible to provide the support and cooperation in regard to the Quality department requirements and Audits. Responsible to provide the support and cooperation in regard to the Business development & tenders management activities when requested. Responsible for supervising contractors throughout all stages of work during the construction of buildings as per drawings, regulations and Qatar construction specifications Responsible to prepare site visit reports with photos and report progress and Non-conformance (if any) Responsible to prepare letters as per contract terms and report any delay, non-conformance, or breachviolations as per contract terms Responsible to attend inspections to ensure work done by contractor is as per drawings, regulations and Qatar construction specifications Responsible to review and approve contractor payments and variations Responsible to attend progress meetings and prepare minutes of meetings for the assigned projects
