Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced

Civil Engineer

with a strong background in

building maintenance and facility management

within the real estate sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity, upkeep, and long-term sustainability of residential and commercial properties, while coordinating maintenance activities, renovations, and repair works to meet safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee

maintenance and repair works

across residential, commercial, or mixed-use real estate properties. Conduct

regular inspections

of buildings, infrastructure, and utilities to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Identify structural issues, provide technical solutions, and recommend

preventive maintenance programs

. Manage

renovation, refurbishment, and fit-out projects

, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery. Coordinate with

contractors, vendors, and facility management teams

to ensure quality execution of maintenance work. Prepare and review

BOQs, cost estimates, work orders, and technical reports

. Ensure compliance with

local building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations

. Implement energy-efficient and sustainable maintenance practices. Support asset value enhancement by maintaining property conditions to the highest standards. Respond to

emergency maintenance issues

and provide quick resolutions.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in

Civil Engineering

(Master's preferred). Proven

5+ years of experience

in civil engineering with a focus on

maintenance, facilities, or property management

in the real estate industry. Strong knowledge of

building materials, construction methods, and maintenance systems

. Proficiency in

AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar engineering/project management tools

. Excellent

problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills

. Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders. Familiarity with

health & safety standards

and local building regulations.
