Key Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Project Execution & Supervision
Oversee on-site civil works including excavation, concreting, masonry, waterproofing, etc.
Monitor work progress and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines.
2. Drawing & Specification Review
Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
Verify construction details and resolve discrepancies in coordination with consultants and contractors.
3. Planning & Coordination
Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and other engineering disciplines.
Ensure proper sequencing of activities and optimize resources to meet deadlines.
4. Structural & Infrastructure Works
Supervise and inspect foundations, columns, slabs, and formwork.
Manage infrastructure works such as roads, utilities, and external development.
5. Quality Assurance & Compliance
Ensure that all civil works meet quality standards and comply with project specifications and local authority regulations.
Conduct inspections and prepare related reports and checklists.
6. Reporting & Documentation
Prepare daily and weekly site reports.
Monitor site activities and submit progress updates to the project manager.
7. Health & Safety
Implement site safety procedures and ensure all activities are conducted with full adherence to HSE standards.
Identify risks and support the HSE team in minimizing hazards.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (accredited)
3-5 years of UAE experience in construction or infrastructure projects
G+1 DM approva;
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and relevant software
Strong understanding of Dubai Municipality and authority requirements
Excellent communication and site coordination skills
UAE driving license is a plus
