Job Summary:

We are currently looking for a skilled and detail-oriented

Estimator

with prior experience in

exhibition stand builds

to join our team on a fixed-term contract. The Estimator will play a crucial role in accurately analyzing project designs, performing cost breakdowns, and preparing quotations for internal review. This role is critical in ensuring efficient project planning, budgeting, and delivery across exhibitions and events.

Key Responsibilities:

Review visuals, technical drawings, and specifications for stand and event builds Perform quantity take-offs and cost estimations based on provided designs Estimate costs for materials, labor, equipment, and outsourcing using standardized templates Submit accurate estimates with a variance allowance of 10% based on market rates Maintain and manage supplier databases, negotiating preferential rate cards Apply a standard markup of 30% to project costs, as directed by SESM/VP Prepare and submit formal quotations to internal departments Coordinate with fabricators, suppliers, and internal stakeholders Provide initial cost estimates to senior management for review prior to contract finalisation Comfortable with long hours in front of the computer as required by project deadlines

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field Minimum 2 years of experience in estimation, preferably in the exhibitions/events industry Familiarity with architectural drawings and the estimating process in construction/exhibition sectors Proficiency in CAD and Microsoft Office Strong negotiation and communication skills Ability to meet tight deadlines and work extended hours if necessary

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
