G+3

residential and commercial projects in Sharjah. Deliver works

safely, on time, to spec, and within budget

, complying with

Sharjah Municipality

procedures,

Sharjah Civil Defense (SCD)

interfaces,

SEWA

utility requirements, company contracts (FIDIC-based), and UAE labor/HSE rules--while actively planning for

weather (heat, humidity, dust/fog)

and

traffic/permit constraints

that impact logistics and sequencing

Key Responsibilities1) Engineering & Planning

Translate IFC drawings/specifications into

method statements

,

ITPs

, and a rolling

2-6-week look-ahead

aligned to the master programme. Coordinate

shop drawings

, rebar BBS, builder's works for MEP/ELV, and SCD egress/plant-room interfaces; raise

RFIs

for conflicts. Identify

long-lead/critical

civil activities (elevator pits/shafts, waterproofing sequences, facade anchors, precast elements) and lock in approvals early.
2) Site Execution & Supervision

Lead daily supervision of

earthworks, foundations, concrete frames, masonry, plaster/screed, waterproofing, facade brackets, finishes, and external works

(roads, kerbs, interlocks, drainage). Release workfronts only after

setting-out verification

(lines/levels/tolerances) with Land Surveyor; conduct

pre-pour

and

post-pour

checks. Enforce hold/witness points per ITP and maintain a

first-time-right

culture to avoid rework.
3) Quality Assurance & Documentation

Ensure installation of

approved materials

only (MIR/MAR); coordinate WIRs with QA/QC and the Consultant. Close

NCRs

with quantified corrective actions; maintain redlines and

as-built

updates in step with execution. Keep up-to-date registers: concrete tests, compaction reports, waterproofing flood tests, pull-out tests, cube strength trends.
4) HSE & Temporary Works

Implement project HSE plan,

JHAs

, lift plans, formwork/shoring checks, edge protection, and hot-work permits. Enforce

MOHRE midday-break

and heat-stress controls; ensure safe access/egress and housekeeping. Review and approve

temporary works

method statements with Tech Office/3rd-party where required.
5) Weather & Traffic Planning (Sharjah)

Schedule

early-morning/night

pours and high-tolerance works to mitigate heat, refraction, and wind; specify

ice/chilled-water

concreting if in the spec. Monitor

temperature/RH/wind

for membranes, coatings, and sealants; use hygrometers and follow manufacturer limits. Coordinate with Logistics/Procurement for

off-peak deliveries

,

SRTA/Police permits

, alternate routes, and lay-down areas; maintain a

traffic calendar

(school peaks, events, Ramadan).
6) Commercial & Change Control

Track executed quantities vs. BOQ; support QS on measurements,

variation orders/claims

, and subcontractor RA bills. Drive waste reduction (concrete, rebar, blocks) and

productivity

monitoring; prepare recovery plans when needed.
7) Stakeholder & Interface Management

Chair daily briefings with foremen/subcontractors; lead weekly coordination with Planning/QAQC/MEP/Survey/Procurement. Interface professionally with

Consultant/Client

to secure timely approvals and close technical queries.

as-built

drawings and coordinated redlines.

Quality dossiers

(test results, WIR/MIR logs, calibration certificates).

HSE records

(JHAs, toolbox talks, incident close-outs).

Progress/productivity

reports and recovery plans.
Authority & Decision Rights

Release or

hold/reject

workfronts/materials based on compliance to drawings/specs/HSE. Initiate RFIs and propose
