Job Summary: Looking for a Civil Draftsman in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Job Key Details:

• Collaborate with engineers and architects to create detailed technical drawings, plans, as well as blueprints for construction projects
• Create accurate 2D and 3D drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other drafting tools
• Prepare architectural, structural, as well as civil drawings, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with relevant codes and regulations
• Collaborate with the project team to address design changes and modifications as required
• Review and cross-check drawings for accuracy and completeness
• Keep up organized records of all drawings, revisions, as well as project-related documents
• Undertake any other related tasks as may be required

Job Qualifications and Experience

• Should hold a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent
• Minimum 2 or more years of experience as a Civil Draftsman in the UAE construction sector
• Strong knowledge in using CAD software i.e. AutoCAD, Revit, or similar as well as other drafting tools
• Strong experience as a civil draftsman, preferably in the building construction industry
• Expertise in using CAD software as well as other relevant drafting tools
• Ability to interpret and create technical drawings, blueprints, as well as schematics
• Must be able to spot potential design conflicts or errors and address them proactively
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
• Good organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Must be familiar with UAE building codes, regulations, and construction practices
• Should be able to interpret technical specifications, architectural drawings, as well as engineering sketches
