Job Description

We are seeking a skilled

Civil Draftsman

with proven experience in

civil infrastructure projects

, including

road design, sewer networks, and potable water systems

. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of civil drafting standards, be proficient in using AutoCAD and Civil 3D, and be able to prepare high-quality technical drawings and documentation to support engineering designs.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed

2D and 3D civil drawings

for infrastructure projects, including

roads, sewerage systems, and potable water supply networks

. Interpret engineering sketches and specifications to produce construction drawings and as-built plans. Work closely with civil engineers to ensure accuracy and quality in design outputs. Draft

longitudinal profiles, cross-sections, pipe layouts, road corridors

, and other civil infrastructure components. Develop

shop drawings

,

layout plans

, and

as-built drawings

as required. Ensure all drawings comply with

local authority standards

,

engineering codes

, and

project specifications

. Maintain and manage drawing registers and document control for drafting deliverables. Revise drawings based on feedback from engineers, clients, or project managers. Assist in

quantity take-offs

and

material specifications

when needed.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma or Certificate in

Civil Drafting

,

Engineering Technology

, or a related field.

5+ years

of experience in civil drafting for infrastructure projects. Proficient in

AutoCAD

,

Civil 3D

, and other relevant drafting software. Solid knowledge of

road geometry

,

sewer systems

,

potable water networks

, and associated design standards. Familiarity with

local municipality regulations

and

international design codes

(e.g., AASHTO, BS, or relevant standards). Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision. Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,500.00 per month
