A JOB THAT INSPIRES YOU

Join a consulting team delivering cable solutions for high-voltage power transmission projects (overhead and underground, HVAC and HVDC). Work on technically challenging assignments: route studies, cable system design, ampacity and thermal analysis, jointing and termination specification, testing and commissioning. Lead deliverables that matter: technical reports, tender packages, cost estimates, and client presentations for utilities, developers, and EPCs. Influence sustainable outcomes by helping clients transition to more resilient and lower-impact transmission systems.

A BACKGROUND THAT CONVINCES US

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering (power systems) or closely related discipline. 7+ years (mid) to 10+ years (senior) experience in power cable engineering for transmission projects; demonstrable work on 66 kV-400 kV (and/or HVDC) systems preferred. Strong technical skills in cable ampacity/thermal analysis (Neher-McGrath, CYMCAP or similar), electrical design, earthing, and bonding for cable systems. Hands-on knowledge of cable accessories, installation methods (trenches, ducts, HDD), testing (VLF, Tan Delta, insulation resistance), and commissioning practices. Familiarity with relevant standards (IEC, IEEE, CENELEC, or local equivalents) and ability to produce clear technical specifications and drawings (AutoCAD/ other drafting tools). Excellent written and verbal communication, client-facing experience, and ability to produce high-quality technical reports.
