Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Civil and Roads Engineer to join our team! The Civil and Roads is reporting to RE \xe2\x80\x93 Stakeholder & Authorities and is knowledgeable of Road and pavements design. Civil and Roads Engineer will review and provide recommendation on the third-party requests for road diversion and closure, temporary roads, new and additional access, and traffic impact studies.

What You\'ll Be Doing:

• Generally, reports to RE and assist ARE and deputize when required.
• Aware of requirements specified in the Contract Documents and following applicable duties pertained to applied category.
• Supervise Contractor\xe2\x80\x99s works to achieve and maintain required construction in accordance with the Contract Documents and client instructions.
• Review Contractor\xe2\x80\x99s submissions such as Work inspection requests, Monthly progress reports, NCR closeouts and review of material submittals etc.
• Provide all necessary on-site direction and issue site instructions.
• Check measure and quality of works being performed on daily basis in accordance with project HSE requirements.
• Record and display progress versus scheduled of works.
• Prepare progress report (PPT & Excel formats).
• Improvement of roads and other associated assets (curb and gutter, street, sidewalk, road markings, road repair).
• Overview of all the infrastructure related assets such as Drainage work, traffic control, Storm water, Irrigation, Landscape, roadway & overhead signs etc.
• Monitoring of contractors TTMP, detour and related work permit accordingly proving assistance in coordination with the relative governmental entities.
• Prepares daily & weekly reports and other documentation, as required by the contract/client.
• Recognizes potential conflicts, issues and problems, and reports to supervisor with proposed solution.
• Coordinates work of subconsultants for surveying and material testing.
• Participates in the development of quality control reports and procedures.
• Responds to the call backs in case of emergency at the project site.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You\'ll Bring:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in civil engineering from an accredited University.
• Minimum 10 years of demonstrable experience of civil supervision of major road and general infrastructure projects preferably in Abu Dhabi.
• Must have sound knowledge about contractual relationships.
• Must be fully computer literate and able to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports, etc. and any project specific engineering and construction relevant software (ERP, ACONEX, CMMS etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and construction specifications and be thoroughly familiar with construction related processes related to area of assignment.
• Prior experience working on large scale infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi will be a significant advantage.
• Excellent capability in written technical skills as well as oral and written communication skills in English.
