Job Description
Geoharbour is looking for a highly motivated Multilingual Chinese Translators to translate documents, texts as well as conversations. The translators will be based in Dubai with the following responsibilities:
- Must be fluent in English and Arabic. Chinese Mandarin would be an advantage.
- Responsible for the accurate translation of documents and emails, as well as attending meetings in which live translations are needed.
- Reads through or listens to material in one language, ascertains understanding of the meaning and context of that material, and converts it into a second language, making sure to preserve the original meaning.
- Good knowledge of content editing tools.
- Consults with subject matter experts and other colleagues in order to understand specialized concepts and translate them appropriately.
- Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling and punctuation accuracy.
- Any other tasks assigned by the management.
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
