Key Responsibilities:
Translate technical and non-technical documents from Chinese to Arabic and vice versa, including contracts, manuals, and reports.
Provide real-time interpretation during meetings, site visits, and conferences.
Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate communication.
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all translated materials.
Support written and verbal communication needs for both local and Chinese teams.
Assist in preparing bilingual documentation for internal and external use.
Requirements:
Minimum of
3 years of proven experience
as a Chinese-Arabic translator/interpreter, preferably in the
oil and gas sector
.
Fluency in
Mandarin Chinese and Arabic
(both written and spoken) is mandatory.
Previous work experience in the
UAE
, especially
Abu Dhabi
, is highly preferred.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
Strong understanding of technical terminology related to the oil and gas industry.
