Job Description

Key Responsibilities of an MEP Technician:

Installation and Maintenance:

Installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical (HVAC, etc.), electrical, and plumbing systems in buildings.

Troubleshooting and Repair:

Diagnosing and fixing issues with MEP systems, including electrical faults, plumbing leaks, and HVAC malfunctions.

Routine Inspections:

Conducting regular inspections of MEP equipment and systems to identify potential problems and ensure optimal performance.

Preventative Maintenance:

Performing preventative maintenance tasks as scheduled to prevent system failures and extend the lifespan of equipment.

Emergency Repairs:

Responding to emergency repair requests to minimize downtime and disruptions.

Record Keeping:

Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and replacements.

Safety Compliance:

Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and protocols.

Collaboration:

Working with other technicians and facility management teams to address maintenance needs.

Quality Control:

Ensuring that all work meets quality standards and deadlines.

Energy Efficiency:

Identifying opportunities for energy conservation and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency.

Following Instructions:

Working from engineering plans and specifications to ensure proper installation and maintenance.

Using Tools and Equipment:

Utilizing various tools and equipment to perform maintenance and repair tasks.

Communication:

Communicating effectively with supervisors and other team members regarding work progress and issues.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,400.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
