Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and servicing of chiller systems (centrifugal, screw, scroll, and absorption types). Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in chillers and related HVAC systems. Conduct repairs or component replacements as needed to restore chiller functionality. Monitor system performance and record operating parameters for analysis. Calibrate and adjust control systems to maintain proper temperature and efficiency. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, including refrigerant handling. Coordinate with the maintenance and engineering teams for preventive maintenance schedules. Maintain accurate service reports, checklists, and maintenance logs. Support installation and commissioning of new chiller systems. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls or equipment breakdowns.

Qualifications and Skills:

Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical / Electrical / HVAC Engineering. Minimum

3-5 years

of experience in chiller maintenance (preferably in industrial or commercial buildings). Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and control systems. Experience working with brands such as Carrier, Trane, York, Daikin, or McQuay is an advantage. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals. Good communication and reporting skills. Physically fit and able to work in outdoor or confined environments. Valid UAE driving license (preferred).
