We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chiller Technician to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of air-cooled chillers from a variety of manufacturers. The candidate must also possess solid knowledge of Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) procedures and be capable of leading a team in resolving complex technical issues. A professional demeanor, strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to perform well under pressure are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance, repair, and servicing of air-cooled chillers of various brands and models.
Execute PPM schedules and ensure all tasks are completed as per standard operating procedures.
Diagnose operational issues in chiller systems and implement effective corrective actions.
Lead and supervise the chiller maintenance team, ensuring quality workmanship and timely task completion.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and service reports.
Communicate effectively with tenants, inspectors, and facility management personnel in a courteous and professional manner.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and company policies.
Manage emergency breakdown situations efficiently and provide prompt solutions.
Participate in technical meetings and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with chillers, especially air-cooled systems in the UAE.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
Familiarity with brands such as Trane, Carrier, York, Daikin, and others.
Proficiency in interpreting technical manuals and schematics.
Ability to lead and mentor junior technicians.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional attitude with strong problem-solving capabilities.
Able to work independently and under high-pressure situations.
UAE driving license is a plus.
