Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced

Chiller, Freezer & AC Technician

to join our maintenance and HVAC team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of industrial and commercial refrigeration systems, including chillers, cold storage freezers, and air conditioning units.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose, repair, and maintain chillers, freezers, refrigerators, and air conditioning systems. Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance. Install HVAC and refrigeration equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and building codes. Maintain service records and prepare maintenance reports. Respond to emergency breakdown calls promptly and effectively.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an HVAC technician, specializing in chiller and freezer systems. Diploma/Certificate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or a related field. Knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems, controls, and refrigerants (e.g., R134a, R404a, R410a, etc.). Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Strong understanding of HVAC electrical systems and controls. Valid driver's license (if travel is required). EPA certification or equivalent (if applicable).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with central plant chillers (air-cooled or water-cooled). Background in supermarket refrigeration systems or cold storage facilities. Strong troubleshooting and repair skills. Good communication and customer service skills.
