Job Summary:

We are looking for a

Chilled Water Foreman

to lead and supervise pipefitting teams responsible for installing and maintaining chilled water systems in commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of chilled water piping systems, leadership capabilities, and experience in coordinating field activities with project management.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise the installation of chilled water piping systems, including valves, pumps, supports, insulation, and accessories. Interpret mechanical and HVAC drawings, shop drawings, and specifications to guide site teams. Coordinate daily site activities and manpower planning for pipefitters and helpers. Ensure proper material handling, tool usage, and adherence to safety protocols on site. Inspect ongoing and completed installations for conformance to design and quality standards. Conduct or oversee pressure testing, flushing, and commissioning processes. Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other trades to resolve installation issues or conflicts. Maintain documentation of daily work progress, material consumption, and manpower utilization. Train and mentor junior fitters and helpers on proper procedures and safety compliance. Ensure timely completion of work targets according to project timelines.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in chilled water system installation, including at least 2-3 years in a supervisory/foreman role. Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical or HVAC preferred. Strong knowledge of pipefitting tools, welding practices, pressure testing, and insulation techniques. Ability to read and interpret HVAC layouts, isometric drawings, and coordination drawings. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Good communication skills in English; knowledge of local language is a plus. Familiar with safety standards and procedures (e.g., PPE, hot work, confined spaces). Physically capable of performing site supervision and handling demanding schedules.

Preferred:

Experience working on large-scale MEP or HVAC projects. Familiarity with international standards such as ASHRAE, SMACNA, or relevant local codes. First Aid or HSE certification is an added advantage.
