As a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist, you will assess and diagnose patients while developing and adjusting comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with other medical professionals. You will also provide emotional support, document patient progress, and stay informed about new developments in psychiatry and mental health. Skills & Competencies:

Training and experience in adult mental health, preferably in private practice or outpatient settings. Western qualification preferred; DHA licensed. Arabic language skills are a plus. Strong documentation, analytical, and decision-making skills. Excellent listening, verbal communication, and patient service abilities. Ability to build relationships with discretion and a positive bedside manner. Education & Qualifications

Doctor of Medicine. Completed psychiatric residency. Minimum of 12 years of post-qualification experience. Board of Psychiatry certification and state license. Strong verbal and written communication skills. High emotional intelligence and expert diagnostic abilities. Description

Your main responsibilities will include: Evaluating medical and psychosocial conditions to help patients. Developing and implementing treatment plans, including prescribing psychotropic medications. Monitoring and evaluating treatment results. Interviewing patients, families, and others; conducting physical examinations; observing behaviors; reviewing medical histories; selecting, administering, and interpreting psychological tests; and ordering laboratory tests. Determining the nature and extent of disorders and establishing treatment goals and methodologies. Utilizing psychotherapeutic methods and medications; discussing progress; providing instructions; monitoring medication effects; supervising staff. Collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure quality and safety. Participating in continuous medical education and professional development.
