Job Purpose:

The Chief UX and Product Development Specialist is responsible for establishing and maintaining initiatives aimed at improving the user experience for client\xe2\x80\x99s customers. This role involves developing plans, policies, and procedures to enhance the user experience. Additionally, the Specialist identifies future application development functions that align with both customer preferences and client\'s business interests.

Key Accountability Results

UX Design:

Analyzes business processes and user needs.

Assists in defining requirements.

Designs browser-based interfaces.

Conducts usability testing for client.

Collaborates with transportation and mobility departments to identify best practices for smart services and channel designs.

Investigates user experience issues and takes actions to improve client\xe2\x80\x99s adoption.

Plans and executes activities for managing and implementing client user experience programs and projects.

Oversees daily interactions with visual designers, content specialists, and research experts.

Product Development:

Analyzes and recommends user experience improvements.

Oversees the integration of user experience measures into client\'s design to meet service quality standards.

Evaluates user experience success criteria and prioritizes improvements.

Collaborates with application engineers, developers, and user experience experts to enhance the customer journey.

Utilizes qualitative and quantitative data from user research and feedback to drive design improvements.

Evaluates competitive services, innovative approaches, and design methods to identify best practices and encourage innovation.

Conducts brainstorming sessions and cross-departmental team meetings to generate ideas and enhance user experience design.

Plays a significant role in vendor selection, RfP tenders, and system purchases.

Oversees and reports on contractual obligations with user experience vendors.

Ensures compliance with technology governance standards, policies, and procedures for the transportation authority.

Performs other responsibilities and tasks as assigned by the department manager.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

Holds a Bachelor\'s degree in Information Technology, Graphic Design, or Computer Engineering from a recognized university.

Brings 10 years of experience from a recognized organization.

Proficient in responsive design techniques and methodologies, including creating standard designs, wireframes, rapid prototypes, and Photoshop PSDs.

Skilled in analyzing information and data related to organizational and operational progress.

Stays updated on the latest developments in user experience improvement practices.

Knowledgeable about international best practices for user experience design.

Able to manage the production of effective smart service interfaces, descriptive data classifications, and interface designs.

Capable of initiating and leading quality improvement projects to support strategic and operational goals.

Possesses advanced computer skills with proficiency in multiple software applications.

Exceptional listener and communicator, both verbally and in writing.

Adept at building trust-based relationships with customers and colleagues.

Flexible team player who excels in coordinating multiple simultaneous projects.

Innovative problem solver with the ability to find practical solutions and resolve complaints.
