Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favourable terms and conditions, including price, delivery schedules, and quality standards. Ensure procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Ensure that the organization adheres to including socially responsible and environmentally friendly procurement. Stay informed about market trends, new suppliers, emerging technologies, and competitive pricing to make informed decisions. reporting on the status of contracts, budgets, and supplier performance. Establish and track KPIs for procurement activities to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the department. Ensure the timely and accurate creation, tracking, and approval of purchase orders.
