We are seeking a visionary and commercially driven Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) with 10+ years of leadership experience, ideally from the FMCG sector, to lead all aspects of marketing across US and UK markets.
The ideal candidate is a full-spectrum marketer--proficient in 360 marketing including digital, AI-driven strategies, and on-road activations--who can drive brand growth, revenue, and market share while maintaining strong financial accountability. Analytical thinking, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional leadership are critical for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Brand Direction
Define and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with revenue and growth objectives.
Strengthen brand equity and ensure consistency across all channels and markets (US, UK, and international if applicable).
Lead marketing planning, budgeting, and financial forecasting, ensuring strong ROI and P&L accountability.
360 Marketing & Growth
Lead end-to-end marketing operations, covering:
Digital marketing: SEO, SEM, social media, content, programmatic campaigns.
AI-driven strategies: predictive analytics, customer segmentation, personalization.
On-road/field marketing: experiential campaigns, retail activations, events, and trade marketing.
Develop and implement customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty programs with measurable business impact.
Drive data-driven insights to inform strategy, optimize campaigns, and maximize ROI.
Financial Oversight & Performance
Own the marketing budget and ensure optimal allocation of resources across channels.
Track and measure marketing performance against commercial KPIs: ROAS, CAC, LTV, contribution margins, and ROMI.
Provide regular financial and performance reports to the executive team, highlighting risks, opportunities, and impact on the P&L.
Implement cost-efficient marketing strategies without compromising brand reach and market penetration.
Market Expertise & Commercial Strategy
Leverage US/UK market experience to identify opportunities, understand consumer behavior, and create impactful campaigns.
Collaborate with sales, finance, product, and operations teams to ensure alignment of marketing initiatives with business goals.
Lead new product launches, pricing strategies, and market expansion initiatives, ensuring competitive positioning and profitability.
Team Leadership & Organisational Impact
Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing marketing team with expertise in digital, AI, analytics, and field marketing.
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and analytical rigor.
Manage external partners, agencies, and vendors to ensure performance, cost-efficiency, and high-quality execution.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of progressive marketing leadership, ideally in FMCG.
Proven experience in US and UK markets, understanding consumer behavior, retail, and market dynamics.
Demonstrated expertise in full-spectrum marketing (360): digital, AI-driven, and on-road/field marketing.
Strong analytical skills, comfortable with data, KPIs, and insights-driven decision-making.
Experience managing large budgets and driving financial performance in marketing.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Strategic Management.
