Chief Financial Officer (cfo) – Oil & Gas

About the Role:
We are seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial strategy and fiscal performance of our regional operations. The CFO will partner with executive leadership to drive long-term growth, manage capital structure, and support investment strategies in line with global energy demands.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute financial strategy aligned with business goals and GCC market conditions.
Oversee all finance functions: budgeting, forecasting, reporting, tax, treasury, and risk management.
Lead investment evaluation, M&A due diligence, and strategic financial planning.
Ensure compliance with IFRS and regional regulatory frameworks.
Collaborate with banks, investors, and government authorities for financial planning and regulatory alignment.
Implement robust financial controls and digital finance systems.
Present financial updates to the CEO, board, and shareholders.
Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; CPA, ACCA, or MBA preferred.
15+ years of finance experience with 7+ years in a C-level or VP Finance role.
Deep knowledge of the energy or oil & gas sector, preferably within the GCC.
Proven experience in raising capital, restructuring finance, or leading IPOs.
Strong leadership, financial modeling, and stakeholder management skills.
