Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

to provide strategic financial leadership and drive long-term business growth.

Role Overview

The CFO will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring robust financial planning, and safeguarding the company's assets. This role will provide strategic guidance in capital management, profitability, and operational efficiency while supporting Sofia Garments' mission to scale sustainably in the competitive fashion industry.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Leadership

Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's growth and profitability goals. Partner with the CEO and board to shape long-term business plans, funding strategies, and expansion opportunities. Provide financial insights that influence operational and strategic decision-making.

Financial Management & Control

Oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, auditing, and compliance processes. Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with IFRS/local GAAP and regulatory requirements.

Operational Excellence

Monitor key financial metrics (cash flow, margins, ROI, cost of goods sold) and drive efficiency across supply chain and production operations. Optimize working capital management, including inventory, receivables, and payables. Implement modern financial systems and tools to streamline processes.

Funding & Investor Relations

Manage banking relationships, capital structure, and fundraising initiatives (debt/equity). Prepare investor presentations and communicate financial performance to stakeholders. Support merger, acquisition, or joint-venture opportunities in line with growth strategy.

Team Leadership

Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team. Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills

Proven experience as CFO, Finance Director, or senior finance executive in apparel, retail, FMCG, or manufacturing industries. Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CFA, CA, or MBA in Finance). Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, corporate finance, and treasury management. Track record in scaling businesses, driving profitability, and implementing ERP/finance systems. Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. High integrity and ability to operate in fast-paced, growth-driven environments.

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
