Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on

Chief Cyber Security Engineer

to lead our organization's security engineering efforts across multiple domains. This is a technical leadership role responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust cybersecurity architectures that protect our assets, infrastructure, and data. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise across all major areas of security and a proactive, engineering-driven approach to solving security challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

Security & Risk Management

Develop and maintain enterprise-wide security policies, procedures, and risk assessments Align cybersecurity practices with business goals and regulatory requirements

Asset Security

Define and implement data classification, handling, and protection strategies Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical information assets

Security Engineering

Design and implement secure system architectures, network designs, and security protocols Evaluate and integrate security tools and technologies into engineering pipelines

Communication & Network Security

Secure network architecture design, including segmentation, encryption, and intrusion prevention Lead incident detection and response initiatives across communication channels

Identity & Access Management (IAM)

Implement and manage IAM frameworks, SSO, MFA, RBAC/ABAC Monitor access privileges and conduct periodic reviews

Security Assessment & Testing

Perform regular vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits Lead red/blue team exercises and remediation planning

Security Operations

Manage security monitoring, logging, threat intelligence, and SIEM tools Coordinate response to incidents, ensuring rapid containment and root cause analysis

Software Development Security

Integrate secure coding practices into SDLC and DevSecOps Conduct secure code reviews and static/dynamic application testing

Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum 8 years in cybersecurity roles with strong technical focus Proven track record in building or securing enterprise infrastructure Strong knowledge of information security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls) Proficient with security tools (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, EDR, DLP, IAM platforms) Hands-on experience in scripting or programming for security automation (e.g., Python, Bash) Solid understanding of cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containers, and Kubernetes security is a plus
