Job Description

We are seeking a visionary Chief AI Officer to lead enterprise-wide AI strategy and innovation across the life sciences and healthcare continuum. This executive role is ideal for a seasoned leader with a proven track record in scaling AI-powered SaaS platforms, driving digital transformation, and delivering measurable impact in clinical research, and commercialization.
Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the AI vision across preclinical, clinical, and commercial domains, aligning with long-term business goals.
• Lead the development and deployment of AI-enabled SaaS platforms, ensuring scalability, ethical governance, and cross-functional alignment.
• Spearhead the creation of AI solutions for precision medicine, real-world evidence (RWE), market access, and medical decision support.
• Build and mentor high-performing, multidisciplinary teams of data scientists, engineers, and product leaders.
• Influence board-level decisions and collaborate with scientific, medical, and commercial stakeholders to drive adoption and impact.
• Lead post-merger AI strategy and integration, ensuring seamless scalability and value creation.
• Represent the organization at global conferences, contribute to scientific publications, and shape the future of AI in healthcare.

Qualifications:

• PhD in Bioinformatics, AI, or related field; MSc in AI/Bioinformatics preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in AI, healthcare technology, and life sciences.
• Proven success in scaling global SaaS platforms and leading enterprise transformations.
• Strong understanding of omics, clinical research, and commercial strategy.
• Experience in ethical AI frameworks, explainability, and regulatory compliance.

Preferred Experience:

• Prior role as Chief AI Officer, Head of Data Science, or General Manager in a healthcare AI company.
• Experience with post-merger integration and global expansion.
• Track record of securing research grants and publishing in high-impact journals.
