Element has opportunity for a Chemist (Metal analysis) to join our growing team in Dubai and this is a great opportunity to develop your testing career within a Global TIC business

In this role, you will be primarily working with with ICP OES (and possibly MS) handling metal samaples - wet analysis

This Postion will be based in DIP area of Dubai

Responsibilities

Carry out metal analysis using gravimetric method Assist in modifying the existing analytical SOPs as and when required Effectively deal with client queries, the final review of the analytical data, releasing / sending the data to the client and setting up new analytical methods Responsible for all analytical aspects of the department and maintain quality records in the laboratory as per ISO 17025 Use chromatography data systems and efficiently utilise the LIMS systems Skills / Qualifications

Diploma / degree in chemistry with at least 3 to 5 years experience in similar role ICP instrument experience (minimum one year), in an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory Have the ability to work in teams under pressure and flexible to work different working hours (night / day) shifts if required or necessary Good english communication skills along with good maths skills Flexible to meet the role requirements and ready to work overtime #LI-SR1 Company Overview
