Experienced Professional
ASnapshot of Your Day You will beactively working in the chemical/process engineering team and work with therest of the department to collaboratively execute Fields of Action (FoA) co-creationprojects to develop a competitive portfolio and leadthe energy transition.

  • Support the development of technologies relevant to processes toproduce olefins and other primary and secondary petrochemicals; methane/propanereforming and other production processes; ammonia and methanol production;synthetic fuel, etc.
  • Support R&D efforts aimed at decarbonization of industrial processes.
  • Assess the impact of novel process or technology concepts being pursued on the overall plant energy usage and operation.
  • Provide technical consultation or direction.
  • Plan and/or conduct experiments.
  • Analyze test data, using statistical software.
  • Actively contribute to focused project teams to support technology and product development project objectives.
  • Foster a collaborative work ethic within the team and the ICA.
  • Effectively communicate with multiple functional groups (Business Areas, Global Innovation Centers, Customers).
What You Bring
  • University degree in chemical/process engineering or similar field (Master/Diploma) or comparable qualification.
  • 5+ years of work experience working in chemical, petrochemical, or industrial plants.
  • Experience with design basis, process description, PFD\'s andheat & material balance, MSD and material selection philosophy, processcontrol schemes, process and Utility P&ID\'s, equipment &instrumentation datasheets, utilities and chemicals consumption summaries,simulations and calculations.
  • Experience in plant safety aspects and especially in processsafety and inherent safe design.
  • Theoretical knowledge of process design methods & tools.
  • Experience in using software and techniques to simulate complexchemical systems.
  • Experience of co-creation with customers or similar & demonstrated performance on technology development programs.
  • Focused on doing what\xe2\x80\x99s right for the company and the Innovation Center, high energy, and contagious enthusiasm, willing to take on the tough projects and challenges to support the growth of the ICA.
  • Driver for quick results and follow through across teams.
  • Very good English language skills.
About The Team The Siemens Energy Innovation Center Abu Dhabi is researchingand developing new technologies to help us build a competitive portfolio andthe right technology. We focus on innovating through co-creation with partners,customers, start-ups, and academia in all five Fields of Action with a mainfocus on Power-to-X and Decarbonized Heat and Industrial Processes. Decarbonized Heat & Industrial Processes specifically focuses on both Heat and Industrial Emissions. Weaim to help our industrial customers produce heat as efficiently andenvironmentally friendly as possible, reducing their emissions at the sametime.
