Job Description
We are working with an International Oilfield Services company that is looking for a Chemical Sourcing Manager to be based in Dubai, UAE.
Objectives:
The key objective for this role is to achieve the best net value for the company while meeting all service and quality requirements. You will have the opportunity to develop dynamic supply strategies which align with long term business objectives, conduct market analysis, identify potential suppliers, manage the overall supplier qualification process, evaluate supplier performance, and drive continuous improvement within our supplier base.

- In charge for sourcing of the chemicals, including suppliers selection, Approval & Qualification.
- Responsible tendering the chemicals & commodities .
- Apply the appropriate acquisition strategy per chemical group.
- Review chemicals inventory levels with each locations supply chain to ensure ordering on time.
- Having a consignment agreement whenever it is possible to reduce the total inventory level.
- Review the PCPR across the countries with finance / Segment Directors to ensure we have achieved the target reduction.
- Uniform the product Description / code in SAP.
- Maintain proper database for all the chemicals providers.
- Maintain database for company products MSDS / TDS.
- Must have experience in Oil Services or Multinational Chemicals companies based in Dubai.
- Bachelors Degree required; Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Technical major will be highly preferred.
- 5 years of operations/business/industry experience is required; Sourcing experience will be highly preferred.
- Experience in Chemicals and or any of the following: Stimulation, Cementing, Frac, Drilling Fluids is mandatory.
- Possess excellent verbal, written, analytical, presentation, organizational and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrate a drive and motivation to learn; be naturally inquisitive and have a process improvement mentality.
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP system; SAP, JD Edwards is a plus.
