Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Chemical Process Engineer

to join our client a

multinational engineering company's Oil & Gas team in Qatar

. This role focuses on

detailed engineering for greenfield and brownfield projects

, including offshore and wellhead platforms. The candidate will support senior engineers in design reviews, prepare critical process deliverables, and ensure compliance with international and client standards.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out

detailed process engineering

for Oil & Gas facilities (onshore & offshore). Prepare and review: Process simulations and line sizing Offshore Wellhead P&IDs Cause & Effect matrices Process philosophy documents Datasheets and operating manuals Use software tools such as

Aspen HYSYS

and

Aspen FlareNet

for design and analysis. Support

Lead and Senior Process Engineers

in design reviews and safety workshops. Ensure adherence to

QatarEnergy standards, Shell DEPs, API Standards, and international codes

. Collaborate with

multi-disciplinary teams

within the office to achieve project goals.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering

from an accredited university.

5-6 years of relevant experience

in detailed engineering for Oil & Gas projects (greenfield and brownfield). At least

3 years of experience in offshore brownfield modifications

. Strong knowledge of

industry practices, tools, and standards

(QatarEnergy / Shell DEPs / API). Proficiency in

Aspen HYSYS and Aspen FlareNet

. Hands-on experience in developing

process deliverables

such as datasheets, P&IDs, C&E matrices, and simulations. Strong communication skills to interact with

multi-discipline teams

and clients.
